Prime lens

A prime lens by Canon for Full frame cameras, 45mm f/1.2. Canon's first f/1.2 lens outside the L series, and light at about 350 g.

What it frames like

Its full-frame-equivalent focal length on the sensor it was made for.

How wide 45mm sees on each sensor it covers.

f/1.2 wide open, to scale against f/1.4.

On full frame (Canon RF): as marked, 45mm.
On APS-C (Canon) (Canon RF): like 72mm on full frame; f/1.2 gives about the depth of field of f/1.9 there.

See what it frames: its view on the Canon EOS R8 Mark II at any distance, and its depth of field, drawn to scale.
