Is the canon rf 45mm f 1 2 stm sharp wide open?

I don't have sharpness test results for the Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM, so I can't tell you how it performs wide open. What I can tell you is that it's Canon's first f/1.2 lens outside the L series and weighs about 350 g. It's a full frame prime, and it also works on the APS-C Canon RF bodies, where it frames like about 72mm.

If you shoot portraits, the thin focus at f/1.2 is a real consideration. Stopping down to f/2.8 helps when two people sit at different distances. You can read more on aperture and background blur or check how the f-number works on the lenses page. The lens page itself lists every Canon RF body it fits.
