Zoom lens

A zoom lens by Leica for APS-C cameras, 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6. The kit zoom, about 28-85mm equivalent, with no stabilisation.

What it frames like

Its full-frame-equivalent focal length on the sensor it was made for.

How wide 18mm sees at its wide end on each sensor it covers.

f/3.5 wide open, to scale against f/1.4.

On APS-C (L-Mount): like 27-84mm on full frame; f/3.5-5.6 gives about the depth of field of f/5.2-8.4 there.
On the larger-sensor bodies of L-Mount: it works with the camera in a APS-C crop mode, at fewer megapixels.
