What lens for vlogging on aps c?

For vlogging on APS-C, I'd look for a wide lens that frames you well at arm's length. My rule is about 16-20mm full-frame equivalent. On APS-C that works out to roughly 11-13mm, because the sensor crops the view. Stabilisation crops in a bit more, so a 24mm-equivalent view often ends up too tight.

If you're choosing a body first, the Nikon Z30 is Nikon's vlogging body with a flip-out screen, and the Sony FX30 is a more serious APS-C video camera. I don't have specific lens picks for these bodies on the site yet, so check the lens list on each camera's page before you buy.

Audio matters as much as the lens. Read the vlogging guide for the other features to look for.
