What is the viltrox af 85mm f 1 8 ii good for?

The Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.8 II is a portrait lens. It's an autofocus prime with a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture, made for full-frame sensors and mounting on Sony E, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z and Canon RF. On full frame it gives a true 85mm view, the classic portrait focal length, with flattering perspective, soft backgrounds and a comfortable distance from your subject.

On APS-C bodies it frames much tighter, around 128mm on Sony, Fujifilm and Nikon, which suits headshots taken from across the room. It isn't stabilised, so it relies on your shutter speed and the light for sharpness.
