What is the olympus m zuiko 45mm f 1 2 pro good for?

The Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.2 PRO is a portrait lens. On Micro Four Thirds it frames like a 90mm lens on full frame, which is a comfortable distance for headshots and tight portraits. The f/1.2 aperture gives you soft backgrounds and works in low light, and it's weather-sealed, so it's happy outdoors. It has autofocus but no stabilisation, so keep your shutter speed up.

If you're shooting people, it's the lens I'd reach for first. For a camera to pair it with, the OM System OM-1 and the OM System OM-5 both take it. For the thinking behind focal length choices, see the portraits guide.
