What is the 7artisans af 18mm f 2 good for?

The 7Artisans AF 18mm f/2 is a small, autofocusing prime for APS-C cameras on the Sony E mount. On an APS-C body it frames roughly like a 27mm lens on full frame, so it's a sensible everyday view for street, travel and documentary work, where you want to step in close and still show the setting.

The f/2 opening gives you plenty of light for dim indoor scenes and a bit more background separation than a typical kit zoom. It won't give you the shallow focus of a dedicated portrait lens, though.
