What cameras fit the pentax smc da 12 24mm f 4 ed al if?

The Pentax smc DA 12-24mm f/4 ED AL [IF] uses the Pentax K mount, so it fits any Pentax K body. The catalogue lists nineteen of them in two groups.

The two full-frame bodies, the Pentax K-1 and the Pentax K-1 Mark II, can use it in APS-C crop mode, which means fewer megapixels. Everything else on the list is an APS-C camera, where the lens frames like 18-36mm on full frame.

If you want one body to pair with it, I'd go for the Pentax KP or the Pentax K-3 Mark III. Both are APS-C bodies that make the most of a wide zoom. The lens isn't stabilised, so keep that in mind for low light. For the basics of how sensor size changes what a lens does, see Sensor sizes.
