What cameras fit the canon rf 16mm f 2 8 stm?

The Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM is a prime for full frame, and it fits a long list of Canon RF bodies. On full frame it's a straightforward 16mm. Mounted on an APS-C body it frames like about 26mm, with f/2.8 giving roughly the depth of field of f/4.5.

Full frame bodies it fits include the Canon EOS R, Canon EOS RP, Canon EOS R6 Mark II and Canon EOS R5 Mark II. The lens also works on APS-C bodies such as the Canon EOS R50 and Canon EOS R10.

My pick for most people is the Canon EOS R6 Mark II: it's a capable full frame body that makes the most of a wide prime like this one. If you want the wide view on a smaller, cheaper body, the Canon EOS R50 is a sensible partner. For the wider picture on sensors and lenses, see Lenses and Sensor sizes.
