You asked
Sony a7 iii vs sony a7c?
The a7 III and the a7C share a lot. Both have a 24.2-megapixel full-frame sensor, in-body stabilisation and the Sony E mount, so they take the same lenses. The difference is the body and the age. The Sony a7C puts that sensor in a small rangefinder-style body and was announced in 2020. The Sony a7 III came out in 2018 and is still the full-frame bargain of the used market.
If you want small and easy to carry, go for the a7C. If you want the cheapest way into full frame, the a7 III is hard to beat. If you can stretch, the Sony a7C II has a newer 33-megapixel sensor in the same small body. It's what I shoot with.
For an everyday kit on either body, I'd pick:
- Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS, the all-rounder
- Sony FE 28mm f/2, if you want something light
- Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II, if you want the best zoom and don't mind the weight
