You asked
Should I upgrade from the sony a9 ii?
Only upgrade if the one thing the a9 III adds would change your shooting. Its big difference is the Sony a9 III global shutter, the first full-frame version. That removes rolling-shutter distortion, which matters most when you're shooting fast sport or action. Resolution barely moves, since it's 24.6 megapixels against the Sony a9 II's 24.2.
If you're happy with your files and don't see wobble or skew in fast action, keep the a9 II and put the money into lenses. Its lens list is on its own page, so you can check your kit still covers what you shoot.
If you do decide to sell, the buying used guide explains why one or two generations back is often the best value.
