Should I upgrade from the fujifilm x t200?

I can't tell you whether a newer body would be a step up. This site doesn't cover other cameras here, so I can't compare the X-T200 with a replacement. What I can say is that a lens change often does more for your pictures than a new body, and it's a cheaper place to start.

The X-T200 has no in-body stabilisation, so for slow shutter speeds, look at stabilised lenses like the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR. For low light and a shallower look, the Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R is a good everyday prime. If you want one zoom that covers most situations, the Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR is a strong pick.

If you do decide to upgrade the body, buying used is the cheapest way to do it. Check the X-T200 page for your full lens list first.
