Should I upgrade from the fujifilm gfx 50s?

Only if the 50S is actually holding back your photos. Its main drawback is the lack of in-body stabilisation, so if slow handheld shots are the problem, the Fujifilm GFX 50S II is the one to look at. My page on it calls it the cheapest way into medium format, with lovely files. The site doesn't give a full spec comparison, so check the details before you buy.

Whatever you decide, your lenses are the bigger investment. The 50S uses the Fujifilm G mount, so you can keep your glass and change only the body. If you're mainly photographing and not chasing a specific limit, a used body one generation old is often most of the camera for much less money.
