Should I switch from the pentax k 3 to mirrorless?

Probably not yet. The K-3 is a capable camera, with a 24.4-megapixel APS-C sensor and in-body stabilisation, and its lens range on this site is huge. Unless you're hitting a specific limit, like the size of the body or autofocus that loses your subject, keep shooting and spend the money on lenses. As my first-camera guide says, that goes further than a new body.

If you do want smaller, the Pentax K-01 is Pentax's only K-mount mirrorless camera. It uses the same mount, so your K lenses carry over, but it's an older 16.3-megapixel body with no viewfinder. Make sure you can live without one before you buy.
