Should I switch from the pentax k 3 ii to mirrorless?

I'd only switch if something specific bothers you. Mirrorless cameras show the exposure before you shoot and their autofocus tracks eyes well, which is why your first camera guide recommends them for most people. The Pentax K-3 II is still a capable DSLR with a huge range of lenses, and if you already own those, you don't need to replace the body to keep taking good pictures.

If you do want to move, your old lenses may still have a use. Mirrorless mounts are shallow, so old manual-focus lenses adapt easily. Pentax's one K-mount mirrorless, the K-01, has no viewfinder, so I wouldn't pick it for that reason.
