Panasonic lumix s 18 40mm f 4 5 6 3 vs leica 16 35mm f 3 5 4 5?

I don't have a page for the Leica 16-35mm f/3.5-4.5 on this site, so I can't compare the two properly, and I won't guess at its specs or price.

The Panasonic Lumix S 18-40mm f/4.5-6.3 is an L-Mount zoom for full frame. It isn't stabilised, but it has autofocus, and it frames as 18-40mm on full frame. It's a wide-to-standard zoom, and it gets darker as you zoom in.

For landscapes, my landscape guide points to a wide zoom of around 16-35mm on full frame. It also says f/4 zooms are a good buy, because you'll usually shoot between f/8 and f/11 anyway. Judge the Leica and the Panasonic against that, and check the Leica's full listing on its own page.
