Om system pen vs om system om 3?
Both cameras use a 20.4-megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor with stabilisation in the body, and both take the same lenses. The main difference I can point to is the PEN's design: a rangefinder-style body with a built-in electronic viewfinder, IPX1 splash resistance and five-axis stabilisation. The OM System OM-3 page doesn't list those features, so I won't claim them for it. The OM-3 was announced in 2025 and the OM System PEN in 2026.
For a small, everyday setup, I'd pair either body with the Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8 for a compact walk-around view, or the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f/1.8 for a classic standard look. If you want one zoom that covers most things, the Olympus M.Zuiko 12-45mm f/4 PRO is a sensible choice.
