Olympus om d e m10 vs panasonic lumix gx7?

The two are close on paper. Both have a 16MP Micro Four Thirds sensor and in-body stabilisation. The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is the newer of the two (2014 against 2013), and its page lists three-axis stabilisation, so it's the one I'd lean towards. The Panasonic Lumix GX7 page doesn't give the same detail, so I can't say how it compares on stabilisation.

Since both use Micro Four Thirds, the lens choice is the same. For an everyday kit on the E-M10, I'd pair it with the Panasonic Leica DG 12-60mm f/2.8-4 and add the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f/1.8 for low light. If you want a newer body, the E-M10 Mark IV has a 20.3MP sensor.
