You asked
Leica q3 vs leica q3 monochrom?
The two are very close. Both are fixed-lens compacts with a 60-megapixel full frame sensor, a built-in 28mm f/1.7 lens, and stabilisation in the lens or the body. The real difference is that the Leica Q3 Monochrom shoots black and white only, and it was announced in 2025, two years after the Leica Q3.
If you shoot in colour, or you're not sure you'll stick with black and white, get the standard Q3. If you already know your work is mono and you want that look straight out of the camera, the Monochrom is the one to choose. If the 28mm feels too wide, the Leica Q3 43 is the same body with a 43mm f/2 APO lens.
