The M11-P and M11-D share most of their specs: 60 megapixels, full frame, the Leica M mount, and no in-body stabilisation. The difference is how you see and set the camera. The Leica M11-P from 2023 has a rear screen with sapphire glass, no red dot and Content Credentials. The Leica M11-D from 2024 drops the rear screen, so settings and review go through your phone.

If you want a screen on the back, choose the M11-P. If you want a purer rangefinder experience with nothing but the viewfinder, choose the M11-D. The original Leica M11 from 2022 is the one to look at if you want an older body.

For an everyday kit on either, I'd start with the Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH, the Leica Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH and the Leica Tri-Elmar-M 28-35-50mm f/4 ASPH.
