Is the zeiss otus ml 35mm f 1 4 good for landscape?
It's a reasonable landscape lens, but it isn't the one I'd reach for first. On full frame, 35mm as marked is a classic landscape focal length, so you'll get the wide view you want. The catch is that landscape work doesn't need f/1.4. You'll usually shoot between f/8 and f/11, where most of that speed goes unused, and the Otus ML is a manual-focus prime, so you'll be focusing by hand.
If you want a single lens for landscapes, a wide zoom around 16-35mm is the classic choice. For a lighter, cheaper option, the landscape guide recommends f/4 zooms. If you already own the Otus and it's on full frame, it will do the job well, especially on a tripod. See the lenses guide for how to build out a kit around it.
