Is the yongnuo yn25mm f 1 7m good for video?

The site doesn't review this lens for video, so I can only judge it from its specs. It's a 25mm f/1.7 prime for Micro Four Thirds, with autofocus but no stabilisation. On Micro Four Thirds it frames like a 50mm on full frame, which is a standard, fairly tight view.

That makes it a poor fit for vlogging. My video guide suggests a wide lens, around 16-20mm full-frame equivalent, for shooting yourself at arm's length. For talking heads or shooting a subject from a short distance, it could work. If you already own one of the Micro Four Thirds bodies it fits, such as the Panasonic Lumix GH6, it's worth trying. Whatever you shoot, budget for sound too, as the audio section explains.
