Is the voigtl nder ultron vintage line 35mm f 2 aspherical good for landscape?

It can work, but I wouldn't pick it as a first landscape lens. On full frame, 35mm is a moderate wide angle. It takes in a fair part of a scene, but it doesn't give the big sky-and-foreground drama that a wide zoom does. My landscape lens advice starts with a wide zoom around 16-35mm for that reason.

The f/2 maximum aperture also goes to waste here. Landscape work usually means stopping down to f/8 to f/11 for depth and sharpness. The lens is manual focus only, which is fine on a tripod if you take your time focusing, and it's a small, simple lens to carry on a long walk.

If you like this kind of prime and want a wider view, the 28mm Ultron is the closer match. For most landscape work, though, I'd still reach for a wide zoom.
