Is the voigtl nder ultron 27mm f 2 worth it?
I like this lens for one job: a small, quiet walk-around prime on a Fujifilm X body. It's a manual-focus pancake at 27mm f/2. On APS-C it frames like about 40mm on full frame and gives roughly the depth of field of f/3, a natural, slightly wide view for street, travel, and everyday shooting.
Whether it's worth it depends on whether you're happy focusing by hand. There's no autofocus and no stabilisation, so if you want quick automatic shots of moving subjects, look elsewhere. If you mainly shoot people, the portraits guide explains why a longer lens usually suits better.
It fits a long list of Fujifilm X bodies, including the X-T30 III and the X-T5. For the crop maths behind the depth of field, see the focal length converter.
