Is the voigtl nder nokton 75mm f 1 5 aspherical worth it?
I think it's worth it if you shoot portraits, or anything where you want a lot of background blur and don't mind focusing by hand. At 75mm and f/1.5 it gives very shallow depth of field and lets in plenty of light for dim rooms. It's manual focus only and not stabilised, so it's a poor choice for moving subjects like kids or pets.
It fits a wide range of full-frame bodies, including the Sony a7 III, Canon EOS R6 and Nikon Z6 II. On APS-C it becomes a short telephoto, so it's still usable there. If you want a wider Nokton, the 28mm and 35mm Vintage Line are the other options. For the sensor question, see Is full frame worth it?.
