Is the ttartisan af 40mm f 2 sharp wide open?

I don't have sharpness results for the TTArtisan AF 40mm f/2, so I can't tell you how it performs wide open, and I won't guess. What I can tell you: it's a 40mm prime at f/2 for full frame, with autofocus, no stabilisation, and mounts for Sony E, Nikon Z and L-Mount. On APS-C it frames like a 60mm.

To see what f/2 does for your pictures, the lens aperture guide explains the f-number, and the portraits guide shows how background blur builds with distance and focal length.

If you want a sharp, compact 40mm for everyday use, the Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G is a lovely choice on the compact bodies.
