Is the ttartisan 50mm f 1 4 asph hard to focus manually?

Shooting at f/1.4 on full frame leaves a very thin band of sharp focus, so even a small miss will show. If your camera has focus peaking or magnification, use them, and stop down a little when you need more margin.
