Is the ttartisan 40mm f 2 8 macro good for product photography?
I think it's a good pick for product work, with one caveat: the site doesn't have a dedicated product photography guide, so this is my read of the specs.
It's a macro lens, and products sit still, so manual focus is less of a drawback than it would be for moving subjects. There's no stabilisation, so use a tripod, and focus carefully. On APS-C bodies it frames like about 60mm on full frame, which gives you room to work without crowding the product. Good APS-C bodies to pair it with include the Fujifilm X-T5, Sony a6700, Nikon Z50 II and Canon EOS R10.
Check the TTArtisan 40mm f/2.8 Macro page for the full list of mounts and bodies.
