You asked
Is the ttartisan 100mm f 2 8 2x macro good for portraits?
Not really, not as a first choice. The TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 2X is a macro lens, built for getting very close to small subjects rather than for portraits. It's manual focus only and has no stabilisation, so it's slow going when your subject moves.
On full frame it frames at 100mm, a little longer than the classic portrait lenses, so it can give you headshots if you don't mind focusing by hand. If people are what you shoot, I'd look at the lenses in the portraits guide first: an 85mm f/1.8 on full frame, or a 135mm or 70-200mm f/2.8 for tighter headshots with room between you and your subject.
