Is the tamron 28 200mm f 2 8 5 6 di iii rxd good on aps c?

On APS-C it's a good travel zoom, with one caveat. The 28-200mm frames like a 42-300mm lens on full frame, so you get a lot of reach from a single lens. The f/2.8 start only holds at the wide end. By 200mm it's f/5.6, and at the same framing it gives about the depth of field of f/4.2-8.4 on full frame. The focal length converter explains that maths if you want to check it. It isn't stabilised, so keep your shutter speed up when you zoom in.

It fits a range of APS-C Sony bodies. The Sony a6400, Sony a6600 and Sony a6700 are all good partners for it. For the full details, see the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD page.
