You asked
Is the tamron 28 200mm f 2 8 5 6 di iii rxd good for wildlife?
It's a useful all-round zoom, but I wouldn't call it a dedicated wildlife lens. The top of its range, 200mm, is where my wildlife and sport page says telephoto starts, so it works for birds in the garden or animals across a field. Anything small or far off will need you to get closer.
It's more useful on an APS-C body, where it frames like 42-300mm on full frame. It isn't stabilised, and it drops to f/5.6 at the long end, so you'll want good light or a steady hand.
Two good pairings from the cameras it fits:
- Sony a6700: APS-C, so you get that 300mm-equivalent reach in a smaller package.
- Sony a7 IV: full frame, if you want to use the 200mm end as it's marked.
For the lens itself, see the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD page.
