Is the tamron 20mm f 2 8 di iii osd m1 2 good for astrophotography?

The site doesn't cover astrophotography, so I can't tell you how this lens performs on stars or the night sky. The Tamron 20mm page lists it as a 20mm f/2.8 prime for full-frame Sony E cameras. It's small, inexpensive, and not stabilised, so keep that in mind if you shoot long exposures handheld.

For how aperture affects depth of field and framing, see the focal length converter. Tamron's 24mm and 35mm primes are also on the site if you want a different field of view.
