Is the sony rx100 vii good for video?

The RX100 VII is a capable compact, but my catalogue page doesn't list its video features, so I can't give you a clean verdict from the site alone. Check its screen and microphone options before you buy.

Its lens starts at the equivalent of 24mm on full frame. My video guide's vlogging section suggests about 16-20mm for filming yourself at arm's length, so 24mm will frame you fairly tight. For most other video, that focal length is fine.

Sound matters more than the camera's specs, so read the video guide's audio section before deciding. You can also see the full spec sheet on the Sony RX100 VII page.
