Is the sony rx100 v good for vlogging?
The RX100 V is a capable compact, but it's not the best pick for vlogging. Its 8.8-26mm lens frames like 24-69mm on full frame, and my video guide suggests around 16-20mm for arm's-length shooting. At 24mm, stabilisation crops in further and you'll look tight in the frame.
The site doesn't say whether the RX100 V has a front-facing screen or a microphone input, and both matter a lot for vlogging. Check those before you buy.
If you want a camera made with vlogging in mind, the Canon EOS R50 V is a vlogging version of the R50 with an APS-C sensor. It has no viewfinder. For the full checklist, see Video.
