You asked
Is the sony rx10 v worth it?
The Sony RX10 V is a fixed-lens bridge-style camera with a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor and a 24-594mm-equivalent zoom (f/2.4-4). It's a step up from the RX10 IV, with a stacked sensor, a faster processor and newer autofocus. It makes sense if you want one camera that covers wide to long telephoto without changing lenses, and you'd rather not carry a kit.
It's less of a fit if you want the bigger sensor and shallow depth of field that full frame gives you for low light and portraits. If you're just starting out and want something pocketable, the first camera guide is worth a read first. I can't tell you the price here, so check it against what you'd spend on an interchangeable-lens setup.
