Is the sony rx10 iv good in low light?
The RX10 IV is decent in good light, but it's not a low-light specialist. Its 1-inch sensor is smaller than APS-C or full frame, and the sensor guide explains that a bigger sensor collects more light, so cleaner high ISO. The lens also gets slower as you zoom: f/2.4 at the wide end, f/4 at the long end.
If low light is the main job, I'd look at the Sony a7S III. It's built for video and low light, though its 12.1 megapixels make it a weak choice for stills. The RX10 V is the newer version of the RX10 IV, with a stacked sensor and faster processor, but I don't have low-light results to show you for either one.
