Is the sony fx3 good for beginners?

Not really, not as a first camera. The FX3 is a full frame video body with a 12.1-megapixel sensor, a cooling fan and no viewfinder. It's built for filming, and it's a lot of camera to learn on. For a first camera I'd still start with a mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor and its kit zoom, because the money goes further in lenses.

If you already have an FX3 or are set on one, it will take good pictures with the right lens. For an everyday kit I'd pair it with the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS for walking-around range, or the Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 if you want something smaller. You can see every lens that fits on the Sony FX3 page.
