Is the sony fe 35mm f 1 8 good for landscape?

It can work, but it isn't my first pick for landscapes. On full frame, 35mm is a fairly standard view, not the wide sweep that landscapes usually want, so you'll often end up stepping back or stitching. The f/1.8 aperture also goes to waste here, since landscapes are normally shot between f/8 and f/11 anyway.

For big skies and strong foregrounds on full frame, I'd look at the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM. If you like the 35mm framing, the Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM keeps it, but its extra speed is more than a landscape shooter needs. For the basics of lens choice, see landscape and your first lenses.
