Is the sony fe 28 70mm f 2 gm good for video?

I don't rate this lens for video, so I can only go by what its page covers. It's a bright f/2 zoom with autofocus, but it isn't stabilised, which matters when you shoot handheld. On full frame it covers 28-70mm. On APS-C it frames like 42-105mm, which is quite tight for walk-and-talk work.

If you're vlogging, my video guide recommends a wider lens, around 16-20mm full-frame equivalent at arm's length. The f/2 aperture and zoom range suit tripod work and interviews better. Whatever lens you choose, plan for sound too. See audio.

You can check which bodies take this lens on its catalogue page.
