Is the sony e 16 55mm f 2 8 g good for vlogging?

It's a good lens for stills and general video, but I wouldn't pick it for vlogging. At the wide end it frames like 24mm on full frame, and the vlogging guide wants around 16-20mm equivalent, because arm's-length shots already crop tight. It also isn't stabilised, and you'll be holding the camera for minutes at a time.

If you already own it, it will work on the APS-C vlogging cameras that take this mount, such as the Sony ZV-E10 and the Sony ZV-E10 II. Check that the body has a front-facing screen and a microphone input, as covered in the vlogging checklist. For a vlogging setup, look for a wider lens than this one.
