Is the sony e 15mm f 1 4 g good for vlogging?

Honestly, it's a so-so vlogging lens. On APS-C it frames like 22mm full frame, and the vlogging guide suggests about 16-20mm at arm's length, so this lens sits a little tight. It also isn't stabilised, which matters when you're holding a camera out in front of you. The f/1.4 aperture is lovely for blurry backgrounds, but it's not what makes a vlog work.

If you want to try it, pair it with a small APS-C vlogging body such as the Sony ZV-E10 II. The Sony ZV-E1 also takes this lens, in APS-C crop mode. Spend as much on a microphone as you do on the lens, too. Read the audio notes before you buy anything.
