You asked
Is the sony a7 ii good in low light?
The a7 II is a full frame camera, so it has the low-light advantage of the bigger sensor. The sensor guide puts that at roughly one stop over APS-C, and the a7 II's in-body stabilisation helps when you're shooting handheld in dim rooms. I can't give you a high-ISO number for it here, though. For the best results in the dark, pair it with a fast lens. Good picks from the a7 II's list:
- Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM for wide, bright shots
- Sony FE 50-150mm f/2 GM for fast zoom work
- Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM as an everyday standard zoom
If low light is your main subject, look at the Sony a7S III instead. It's built for it, though its 12 megapixels make it a weak choice for stills. For the reasoning, see Sensor sizes.
