You asked
Is the sony a6700 good in low light?
The site doesn't rate the a6700's high-ISO performance directly, so I can't give you a score. What I can say is that it's an APS-C camera, and at the same framing and f-number a full frame body gathers roughly a stop more light. You'll get cleaner images at high ISO from full frame, but APS-C is fine for most dim-light hobby shooting.
The a6700 has stabilisation in the body, which helps a lot handheld in low light. For dark scenes, a fast lens matters more than the body. Good options from its list:
- Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art for a standard range
- Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art for wider scenes
- Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD if you want one zoom that covers a lot
See the a6700 page for the full lens list.
