Is the sigma 24mm f 1 4 dg hsm art good for astrophotography?

I don't have a dedicated astrophotography guide, so I can't give you a verdict on this lens for night sky work. What I can see from its page is that it's a 24mm prime with a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, which lets in a lot of light. It's made for full frame, and on APS-C it frames like 36mm. It isn't stabilised, so you'll want a sturdy tripod for long exposures.

For wide, dark scenes, the landscape page is the closest I have, and the Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art page lists every camera it fits if you want to check your body.
