Is the samyang af 18mm f 2 8 fe good for astrophotography?
I don't cover astrophotography on this site, so I can't say for sure how the Samyang AF 18mm f/2.8 FE performs under the stars. What I can tell you from its page: it's an 18mm prime for Sony E full-frame bodies, with f/2.8 and autofocus. It isn't stabilised, so for long night exposures you'd rely on the camera body's stabilisation, if it has any, or on a tripod.
For the lens itself, see the Samyang AF 18mm f/2.8 FE page. If you want to work out how wide and bright you need, the focal length converter explains how aperture and framing carry across sensor sizes.
