Is the pentax smc da 12 24mm f 4 ed al if weather sealed?

The lens page for the [Pentax smc DA 12-24mm f/4 ED AL [IF]](/gear/lenses/pentax-smc-da-12-24mm-f-4-ed-al-if/) doesn't say whether it's weather sealed, so I won't guess. Its listed specs cover the focal length, f/4 aperture, APS-C coverage, the Pentax K mount, and autofocus, but no sealing. The one Pentax lens I describe as weather-sealed is the [Pentax smc DA* 300mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM](/gear/lenses/pentax-smc-da-300mm-f-4-ed-if-sdm/), a telephoto for wildlife, so it's not an alternative for wide landscape work.

If you shoot landscapes in wind, spray or drizzle, sealing matters, and the Landscape guide explains why. Check the manufacturer's current spec sheet before you buy if it's a deciding factor.
