Is the pentax hd da 16 85mm f 3 5 5 6 ed dc wr good for video?

The site doesn't test this lens for video, so I can't tell you how its footage looks. The spec sheet does show two things that matter for shooting video. It's a zoom whose maximum aperture gets darker as you zoom in, and it isn't stabilised. Handheld walking shots will wobble unless your camera body provides stabilisation.

The 16-85mm range does suit vlogging. The vlogging guide wants a wide view for arm's-length shooting, and 16mm on APS-C gives you that. Before you buy, read the audio advice. Good sound matters more than the lens.

If you want to compare, the Pentax smc DA 18-135mm is the other APS-C zoom here, but I have little to say about it yet. For the bigger picture, start with the Video page.
