Is the pentax hd d fa 28 105mm f 3 5 5 6 ed dc wr good for vlogging?
Not really, in my view. This is a full-frame kit zoom, and its 28mm wide end is tighter than the 16-20mm full-frame equivalent I'd want for vlogging at arm's length. On an APS-C Pentax body it frames like 42-158mm, which is even tighter. It also isn't stabilised, and its f/3.5-5.6 aperture is fine in daylight but doesn't help much in dim rooms.
It's a sensible lens for stills and general walking-around shots on a Pentax K body. For vlogging, I'd look for a wider lens, and read Video first, especially the For vlogging section. Sound matters as much as the lens, so the Audio section is worth a look too.
