Is the panasonic lumix s 18 40mm f 4 5 6 3 good for video?

The Panasonic Lumix S 18-40mm f/4.5-6.3 can work for video, but I don't rate it specifically for that, and a few of its traits matter more than its name.

Its 18mm end is wide on full frame, which is close to the 16-20mm equivalent I like for vlogging at arm's length. It's light and has autofocus. The drawbacks are that it isn't stabilised and the aperture drops as you zoom in. On APS-C it frames like 27-60mm, so it's much less wide there.
