Is the om system pen worth it?

I think it's worth it if you want a small, light camera for travel, street, or everyday photos. It's a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless body with a 20.4-megapixel sensor, a built-in electronic viewfinder, five-axis stabilisation in the body, and IPX1 splash resistance. Those are useful things to have in a pocketable camera. I can't tell you whether it's good value, though, because I don't have pricing for it.

For a sensible everyday kit, I'd pair it with the Panasonic Leica DG 12-35mm f/2.8, which frames like a 24-70mm on full frame. If you want something smaller, the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f/1.8 gives a 50mm view and keeps the setup compact.

If you shoot mostly in low light or want very shallow depth of field, a larger sensor may suit you better. See sensor sizes for how the formats compare.
